The MTV Music Awards is an event full of fun, and for what also regards clothing, the stars dress in casual and sparkling outfits. From Kristen Stewart to Emma Watson, many stars worked the red carpet wearing unusual and quite colorful outfits.

The beautiful Kristen showed off  her rocker soul with a metallic sheath dress by Guishem  with purple and yellow applications. The 22 year-old star, who won the award for Best Kiss with Robert Pattinson for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 2, played down the eccentric dress with black Christian Louboutin pumps. Emma Watson, awarded as best female performer in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, wore a Brood blue-purple dress with psychedelic prints and applications on the sides. The outfit was a little hard to watch considering the excessive movement added from the gothic sandals with crossed lists signed by Tabitha Simmons.

Shailene Woodley, honored as Breakthrough Performance for her role in The Descendants, chose a menswear look by Stella McCartney, while Jennifer Aniston chose a classic one-shoulder sheath dress in black leather. Mila Kunis, in Fendi, was a veritable explosion of color, while Kate Beckinsale, in a white sheath dress, and Leighton Meester, in a short suit by Christian Cota, were glamoursly chic
