The real news of this year in terms of mode and manner in Cannes, is certainly a tendency to wear flip-flops. We have had the pleasure (or displeasure)  to see flip-flops at skinny and cured feet of various actresses. Many actresses preferred to wear convenient and simple flip-flops instead of canons plateau with mile-high heels and wedges shoes. The lanky of course dared more, like Uma Thurman at the premiere of the last episode of the saga of the Pirates of the Caribbean, which combined a long white embroidered dress from Chanel, with super flat sandals with glitter leather lists by Jimmy Choo. Among the passionate of flip-flops wearers are  Elizabeth Olsen who wore white sandals with satin bow and French actress Sandrine Kiberlain, which for the premiere of the film Polissia, chose Roger Vivier flip-flops with thin flesh-colored strings. The super-fashion model Ines De La Fressange could not hold back in front of this minimal-chic trend, and in fact on several occasions she was photographed with flat glamorous and certainly anti-stress shoes.
