Some stars, as well as evolving as actresses, significantly improve their style during their career. One of these, Leelee Sobieski, 30, became famous in the role of Joan in Joan of Arc, and currently starring in the tv series NYC 22.

The actress, after a series of appearances with tacky outfits (especially in the early 2000's), recently sported an outfit worthy of a true style icon. Leelee, born by a French father and Polish mother, has an angelic beauty and a dry and slender body that allows her to wear both long and short dresses with ease. A big change in her style occurred with the appearance at the 2011 MET Ball, where Leelee divinely wore a Vionnet gown with a golden Greek belt. This year, the appearances have been equally surprising: a long white Jil Sander gown with red lipstick during the Tribeca Film Festival Vanity Fair Party and a Chanel nude dress with sandals and earrings in a profusion of finesse and grace during the Chanel dinner party.

What has caused this change of style? Surely playing a cop in NYC 22 made Leelee tired of appearing always in uniform, and she probably wanted to show her feminine side; but certainly there is also half of the blame to her husband, fashion designer Adam Kimmel. "I do not ask for help from a stylist. Me on my own and then I ask my husband.” recently said Sobieski. The two were married at the end of 2010 just when Leele began improving her own style and started to understand better what was right for her from her husband's advice.
