In an attempt to recreate the ‘60’s cat-eye make-up of Liz Taylor, Lindsay Lohan must have gone overboard in some way. The actress was spotted leaving the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood (Read) with a DIY make-up that could not pass unnoticed.

Probably drawing inspiration from the make-up that she received filming Liz & Dick, the 26 year old star was knee deep with the eyeliner and black mascara on the eyes and added blush and red coral lipstick for a clown makeup that made her look older. Not only that, Lohan also had a strong artificial tanning, which faded in patches on the legs in tones of orange. But probably for Lindsay, the makeup was not enough: once inside the car, the actress tied her hair with a purple flannel and lowered the rear view mirror for a make up retouch.

The dress was no less restrained: she wore a silk shirt with a black miniskirt and leather Miss Butterfly sandals by Christian Louboutin. In order to add emphasis to her face, she enriched the look with bright silver earrings.

Lindsay, who in the pictures also shows lips and cheekbones rather than chunk, left the Chateau Marmont with a cigarette in her mouth and covered her face from photographers when she took both hands off the wheel of her Porsche.
