The younger sister of Penelope Cruz, Monica, is the new face of lingerie British brand loved by celebrities, Agent Provocateur Fall-Winter 2012/2013. The 35 year-old actress and dancer is the star of the campaign named "Wilhelmina: Show Your True Self" shot inside a decommissioned prison in London and inspired by Victorian England. "I wanted it to be romantic Goth, so it’s quite dark but quite beautiful." Explained creative director Sarah Shotton. "It’s nostalgic but true to the brand in dark shades of red and purple. It’s set in a Gothic underground space, brought alive by Monica’s frenzied and fantastical performance. Monica is a beautiful embodiment of the Agent Provocateur brand, knowingly sexy and empowered by her own sensuality".

In the shot, Monica wears three different styles: the Whitney with an edge and domineering style, the Novah in bright colors and gothic style and model Ameliah features lace details and suspenders. One of the most famous Agent Provocateur suits, the model Raphaella, in French lace and tulle, had been worn by Madonna on the cover of the Single Girl Gone Wild.

Monica, in 2008, starred with Penelope for the Mango's sales campaign, and she was the first choice of Sarah Shotton. “She’s a professional dancer, a very sexy woman. I’ve never seen a woman move like that” Explained the creative director.
