Say goodbye to flat black bikini, perfect to cover any imperfections, because ruffles, floral patterns, stripes and polka dots are the new must-have on the beach.

After Jessica Alba, who on the Amalfi Coast wore orange and purple bikinis, patterns, colorful caftans and scarves, Rihanna, who with her yacht moved from Sardinia to France before returning to Portofino, was spotted wearing a wide range of colorful costumes. After the fancy bikinis that she wore in St. Tropez, floral prints have taken over the summer wardrobe of the singer, who was spotted in Cannes and in Eze Sur Mer with a one-piece swimsuit of red roses and a flowers jumpsuit.

Audrina Patridge, omnipresent at the Las Vegas pool party, chose patterns and ruffles to accentuate her perfect shape, while Ashley Tisdale celebrated her birthday on the beaches of Malibu, first wearing a yellow fringe bikini, and then a pink polka dot two piece. Alessandra Ambrosio was also in Malibu, with an orange, purple and black bikini, while Whitney Port opted for a bikini with lemon and cherry print by American Apparel.
