With 12 and 16cm heels, wedges, platforms and tribtoo; we usually see Hollywood stars  wearing very articulate footwear creations, but judging by the nonchalance with which the celebrities wear them, these sculptures seem to be like a comfortable pair of slippers.

And don’t believe that the heel is a privilege to show off only on the red carpet; at the airport, on the beach, or on the red carpet at the ninth month of pregnancy, the heel is a must have that not only enhances the figure, but makes the star feel irresistibly sexy and fascinating. The never without heels are many, but some have distingushed themselves for wearing uncomfortable shoes in less comfortable situations. Lindsay Lohan recently attended the Coachella Festival, in the middle of the Californian desert, and careless of sand, mud, and of the fact that during the concerts everybody stomps on each others feet, she wore a mini dress, a Prada bag, and boots with 15cm wooden heels and 5cm platforms designed by Jeffrey Campbell.

But there is no limit to the discomfort: Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise were spotted playing on Malibu beach in heels. Not only Tom Cruise’s wife wore leather sandals with heels, but also Suri; like mother like daughter... Last but not least is Kim Kardashian, who bravely defied the other guests on go-karts at Kanye West’s fashion show while wearing high and very precious heels.

The showgirl for the occasion wore Kanye West by Giuseppe Canotti sandals in leather entirely covered in pearls and with a 15cm heel that were worth 4,500 euros. Then there is Jessica Simpson, inseparable from the 16cm heel wedges, and Christina Aguilera, with a collection of Christian Louboutin with over 300 pairs of shoes.
