It has been said in the past that Brad Pitt’s parents were not accepting of his relationship with Angelina Jolie, but if that was ever the case it seems that they have changed their tune. Angelina was walking arm in arm on the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie with non other than Brad’s mother, Jane Pitt. The two women seemed close and had big smiles for eachother as they posed for the cameras before the screening of Angelina’s film, The Land of Blood and Honey.

Jane and Angelina were both dressed in black, with Jolie wearing a beautiful silk dress and gold jewelry and Jane wearing a black skirt and jacket with a ruffled neckline. Jolie, 36, was also joined by Brad and his father Bill. She had spent time earlier in the day with Brad’s parents in New York and they seemed to be getting along fine.

Jolie’s directorial debut tells the story of a Serbian man and Muslim woman who fall in love. The man becomes the jailer for the woman when the Bosnians are captured by the Serbs in Bosnia during the war. It deals with how people change during war.

Jolie is facing a lawsuit by author James J. Braddock, who claims she used an article of his as a base to write the film.
