The trouble with the law never ceases for Lindsay Lohan, who is the prime suspect in a theft of two watches and a pair of glasses for a total value of $100,000 that happened in Los Angeles. The theft took place in a villa in the Hollywood Hills, in the house of one of Lindsay’s friends, Sam Magid. Lohan and her assistant Gavin Doyle are both the first suspected of the theft that occurred during the night of August 19th.
Surprisingly, Sam Magind withdrew the complaint of the theft a few days later, following a telephone conversation with the father of Lohan, who said: “After personally speaking with the homeowner, there was NOTHING stolen from his home. Lindsay has no involvement and the owner has told the cops that.” But investigators, not convinced by this bizarre withdrawal of the owner, are continuing with the investigation. If the suspicions of the investigators were upheld, there would be serious problems for Miss Lohan; the 27 year old it is still on informal probation, due to various offenses including the theft of a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store in Venice that took place in 2008. Not only that, in 2010 Lindsay was accused of stealing a $35,000 Rolex and a mink fur coat worth $11,000 in 2008.
