If you want to sell a home in today’s volatile real estate market you usually can’t get what you paid for it, so why not try renting it out? More and more Hollywood stars trying to rent out the villas that they are no longer using before committing to selling them and celebrity couple Warren Beatty and Annette Bening did just that.  They put their Beverly Hills home up for rent last year at $27,500, even though they really wanted $35,000 for it. Then the price was dropped again to $19,995 per month. After failing to find someone to rent the Mediterranean-style house since late 2011, Warren and Annette have now decided to sell the 10,594 square foot home for the asking price of $6.995 million.

The villa was built in 1992, which is the same year that the couple got married. They fell in love while filming the movie Bugsy in 1991. The home has been a special place for Warren, Annette and their four children, but after 20 years there, the couple has decided that they want to move on.

The villa is in a very private and secluded area on 1.1 acres of land. It has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a maid’s quarters and a separate guest house with two additional bedrooms. Inside the home there is a media room, a large library, an office and a gym.

There is a long driveway after you enter the gates, which leads you to a large parking area in front of the two-story home, which includes a three-car garage. The pool and spa area outside is surrounded by trees and sits on plush green lawns which overlook San Fernando Valley.

Warren and Annette are probably living in another home that they own two miles from the villa being sold. The newer home sits on 6.7 acres of land and was rebuilt in after a large earthquake damaged it in 1994.
