Frankie Muniz is not unable to sell his house at 1229 N Wetherly Dr., in Hollywood Hills. The star better known for his role in the television commedy Malcolm in the Middle, bought the house in 2006 at the young age of 21 for $3,499,000 and has been leasing it out in recent years and recently purchased another home in the Phoenix for $2.65 million.
The estate is the third time on the market, first in 2010 for $3.295 million, then again in 2011 the price was dropped by $100,000 and now is again listed for $3.195 million despite Hollywood Hills home prices increasing 2.3% over the 2011.
The gated home, built in 1941, has been remodeled with an open floor plan. The 4,200-square-foot home has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The kitchen, dining room, living room, family room and two bedrooms occupy the lower level. Upstairs, the master bedroom suite has a sitting area, a fireplace and dual closets and at second floor two additional bedrooms.
