It is almost unusual for a Hollywood star to not have a home in Hollywood, California, and actress Gwyneth Paltrow with her husband, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, and children have decided to finally give in and buy a $10.5 gem in the Los Angeles area. They already own a home in the Belsize Park of London, an area full of celebrities. They also have two homes in New York: one is a 2-floor penthouse in New York city and the other is a villa in Amagansett, New York (also known as the Hamptons) where stars flock for their summer holidays.

The quaint new house in Los Angeles is worth $10.5 million and has 8,000 square feet of space. It holds six bedrooms and 8 bathrooms and is located in the star-studded area of L.A. between Brentwood and Pacific Palisades called Mandeville Canyon.

The property is surrounded by trees and sits on .66 acres of land. It was designed by a Windsor Smith, who calls himself a lifestyle architect. He described the home as "reminiscent of a home in the horse country of Kentucky with gentrified rooms suitable for an inspiring and easy, relaxed, unpretentious lifestyle."

Gwyneth’s home is in an ‘H’ shape and has black and white checkerboard and antique wood floors throughout. There is a huge living room which extends from the front of the villa to the back, and the house has numerous fireplaces, large windows and French doors everywhere. The modern kitchen is sophisticated and well-made with expensive, top-of-the-line appliances.

There is a private courtyard off the back of the house and an outdoor sitting area with a fireplace, BBQ station and dining table. The gated property is covered with gorgeous trees including sycamores and oaks, the perfect setting for horse-riding. There is a small stable located on the land.
