There is an island paradise in Turkey that became famous as the meeting place for lovers Queen Cleopatra and Mark Anthony. The unique structure is in the shape of an Egyptian Eye of Horus, a fitting tribute to the island name, known as Cleopatra Island (actually called Sedir Island). Designed by Spanish architect Luis de Garrido, it hosts 25 bedrooms and five lounges and is a sustainable eco-house. The home is a glass-covered dome which is completely water, energy and food self-sufficient.

The lighting is photovoltaic, with the black outline of the eye shape holding the panels which allow the house to be completely energy efficient and independent.

Now that is an act of love worthy of a diva!
