After two years on the market, Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has managed to sell her luxury apartment in New York. The apartment, over 3,800 square-feet, is located in the upmarket area of Greenwich Village on Perry Street, in the same skyscraper where Hugh Jackman and Calvin Klein’s designer Francisco Costa live.

The apartment went for $16 million, but Nicole had also tried to rent the loft for $ 45,000 per month. The apartment has wide open spaces, with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, with a spectacular view of New York harbor.

Tom Cruise’s ex wife, who had bought the property in 2003 under the name of her sister, decided to put it up for sale because she was annoyed by a nearby high-rise which obstructed the view of the Hudson river. Nicole and her husband, singer Keith Urban, live with their two children in Sydney, Australia, but less than a year ago they bought another apartment in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan for $10 million.
