The Tuscany villa, featured in the 2003 movie Under the Tuscan Sun, is for sale for 9.5 million euros. The movie has inspired many seekers of adventures to search for vacation houses in the Italian paradise and now some of them will have the remarkable opportunity to own this legendary mansion.

The movie itself, starring Diane Lane in the main role, recounts the experiences of a divorced California writer who settles down in the town of Cortona, chooses a dilapidated villa and sets out for its renovation.
The super luxury residence, built in 1504,  offers 10 bedrooms, 9.5 bathrooms, an exclusive private chapel, a small lake, a swimming pool, a garden and a farmhouse. In 2006, soon after its film appearance,  the wine producers Fred and Nancy Cline purchased the villa but have decided to get rid of it recently.

An olive grove on the property produces over 100 liters of olive oil a year, and the owners are currently adding another 65 trees to the current number of 100. The villa is located within a walking distance from the cultural and artistic center of Cortina.
