Israeli-American actress Natalie Portman (real name Natalie Hershlag) was born in 1981. At the age of 10, a Revlon agent asked her to become a child model, but she turned down the offer to focus on acting. In 1994 she debut in the French film Léon directed by Luc Besson; this performance was followed by Michael Mann's Heat (1995), Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love You (1996), Tim Burton's Mars Attacks! (1996) and George Lucas' Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999). In 2005 she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in Closer by Mike Nichols and also won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in Black Swan by Darren Aronofsky. She is currently married to ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied: Portman gave birth to their son Aleph Portman-Millepied in June 2011.

Born in 1969 Darren Aronofsky is a director , producer and screen writer. After high school he went to Harvard University  where he studied anthropology, film and animation. His senior thesis on “Supermarket Sweep” got him in the finals for the National Student Academy Award. In 1998 he wrote and directed the movie “Pi” also called “π”, a huge success with both the public and critics, Aronofsky also won the directing award at the Sundance Film Festival and the independent Spirit Award for best screenplay. In 2006 he directed “The fountain” and later in 2008 he presented “The Wrestler” at the 65^th international Venice Film Festival winning the Golden Lion award for best Film. His most recent film in 2010 “Black Swan” is a phonological thriller set in the world of ballet staring Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis.
