Zooey Deschanel (Yes Man, 500 Days of Summer) is a very busy girl! She has starred in numerous films, has a band called She & Him, and just attended the Golden Globe awards as a nominee for Best Actress for her new hit show, New Girl. She even has her own entertainment website called HelloGiggles, which is geared toward ‘cool girls who like to laugh’.

Deschanel co-founded HelloGiggles in 2011 with friends Sophia Rossi, a producer, and writer Molly McAleer. The site has now teamed up with the Digital Broadcasting Group (DGB) to produce a series of online video episodes which address web dating. The internet series is called The Single Life. DGB has already produced a first series of episodes, but the second season will be the first time it is broadcast on HelloGiggles. It stars Taryn Southern and Jeremy Searle who play a couple that met online and show how they try and stay happy together.

The Hollywod Reporter said that Deschanel will be one of the creative voices of the show.
