Leonardo DiCaprio has celebrated his birthday in the New York-based upscale bar Avenue, and his guest list included high-profile stars like Naomi Campbell, Benicio del Toro, Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper. The actor has announced that his birthday party is intended to gather charity funds for the protection and safety of wild animals and natural disaster survivors.

A bid for the artistic pieces, sold at the event, has resulted in 1.5 million dollars of funds. The guests had to pay for their drinks at the bar, and all the income was directed to the charity fund collection. That was also the party in which the notorious Lindsay Lohan was kicked out due to her attempts to be present, despite having been unable to show a personal invitation at the door.
