When we think of a holiday movie that puts a group of celebrities together and gives us heart and comedy and makes us feel good, Love Actually directed by Richard Curtis comes to mind. At first glance, the new poster for New Year’s Eve gives us that same kind of feeling. The gold background showing the New York skyline and iconic New Year’s ball with a mysterious couple in a romantic embrace was enough to get our attention. What really gets us excited , though, are the cast pictures at the bottom of the page. The all-star cast gives us hope that director Gary Marshall can pull off the all-star Love Actually holiday feel.

Marshall’s previous holiday movie with Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, etc., Valentine’s Day, left us disappointed, but we have to give him credit for making Pretty Woman so amazing and seeing the huge list of familiar names on the new poster makes us want to check out this one, too.

The cast includes: Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Robert De Niro, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Hector Elizondo, Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Seth Meyers, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Til Schweiger, Hilary Swank and Sofia Vergara.

New Year’s Eve comes out in U.S. theaters on Dec. 9th.
