The Dark Knight Rises won its second straight weekend at the box office. Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale’s Batman trilogy finale earned $64.1 million, giving it an easy victory over the animated flick Ice Age 4, which came in second with $13.3 million. The Ben Stiller-led ensemble alien invasion comedy The Watch debuted at third with $13 million.
The newly released dance spectacle Step Up Revolution and Ted came in fourth and fifth places with $11.8 million and $7.4 million, respectively. Rounding out the Top 10 were The Amazing Spider-Man with $6.8 million, Brave $4.2 million, Magic Mike $2.6 million, Savages $1.8 million, and Moonrise Kingdom $1.4 million.
