Canadian actress Rachel Anne McAdams was born in 1978. In 2001 she graduated from BFA degree in Theatre and debut in Paolo Virzì's My Name is Tanino; after this role she played in Wedding Crashers by David Dobkin, in Wes Craven's suspense thriller Red Eye and in the dramedy The Family Stone with Diane Keaton and Sarah Jessica Parker. In 2009 she starred in State of Play by Kevin Macdonald with Ben Affleck, Russell Crowe and Helen Mirren, in Robert Schwentke's The Time Traveler's Wife and in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes. In 2010 she starred in Midnight in Paris directed by Woody Allen, opening film at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
